Hasaan J. (Sam) Jomha

Hasaan J. (Sam) Jomha graduated from the University of Alberta law program in 2008 has been a member of the bar for 12 years and has been setting a precedent in criminal legal defence excellence. Sam is a member of both the Law Society of Alberta and the Northwest Territories. Widely regarded as “the bulldog”, he is proficient in running bail hearings and criminal trials and criminal defence practice extends to all types of indictable and summary conviction trials and appeals.

Sam has earned a reputation as a very skilled negotiator and an outstanding trial lawyer. He has the unique ability to work with his clients with compassion and unwavering objectivity. Sam is a master communicator both with his clients and in court, a trait that gives him an edge in his field of practice. Mona F. Karout

Mona Karout graduated from the University of Alberta law program in 2003 and has been a member of the law society of Alberta for 17 years. Mona Karout articled at Chadi & Company after graduating from law school. Mona Karout developed her criminal legal skills while working at Chadi & Company and clients know they can rely on her to represent their interests without exception. Mona has an unblemished reputation among Crown Prosecutors and Justices alike.

When she takes on a case, she does so to achieve the best results regardless of the seriousness of the charge or the circumstances of the client. Mona understands that good people can make mistakes or may find themselves charged with charges to which they are not guilty. Adam Shaben

Adam is an Associate at Jomha Karout Law and has been a member of the bar since December 2021. Adam completed his articles at Jomha Karout Law after graduating from law school. Adam has represented criminal clients on matters from Alberta, Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories.

Adam has dealt with criminal matters under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act and the Criminal Code of Canada. Adam has a proficient understanding of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Adam has run successful bail hearings and trials in both Provincial Court and the Court of Queens Bench. Adam strives to provide excellent service to his clients and understands that client relationships are built and centered on trust, loyalty, professionalism and being genuine.
